Mr. Cammarata combines extensive transactional and litigation experience to bring a unique and versatile approach to his corporate practice of representing clients ranging from local small business owners to large multinational corporations. Mr. Cammarata assists clients with a wide variety of transactional matters including commercial contracts, debt and equity financing, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his transaction-based practice, Mr. Cammarata represents clients in business litigation matters including contract disputes, partnership/joint venture disputes, shareholder derivative actions, trade secret misappropriation, restrictive covenant issues, and general business torts.
Mr. Cammarata also serves as general business advisor and legal counsel to entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies, from inception through all stages of the corporate life cycle. Mr. Cammarata routinely counsels his corporate clients on matters such as business formation and structuring, corporate governance, labor and employment concerns, franchising, regulatory compliance, and other issues involved in growing and scaling a business.
Mr. Cammarata received his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia, where he participated in the Business Law and Ethics Program and was on the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. During law school, Mr. Cammarata clerked at the Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office and worked in the corporate counsel department of one of America’s largest private companies. Prior to attending Georgia Law, Mr. Cammarata graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice.
Mr. Cammarata lives with his wife, Katie, and their son in Canton, Georgia. As a Canton native, he is proud to call Cherokee County home. Mr. Cammarata is involved in numerous community organizations and events and is the founder of a local organization designed to provide young professionals networking, volunteer, and professional development opportunities.
Mr. Cammarata is admitted to practice law in all Georgia state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and Middle District of Georgia, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
