Mr. Sowell provides legal counsel to businesses, property owners, and individuals with an emphasis on commercial litigation. Mr. Sowell has experience in construction disputes, breach of contract actions, shareholder derivative suits, real estate disputes, dispossessory matters, and other civil and business litigation matters.
Mr. Sowell earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business in Economics and International Affairs, before earning his J.D. at the University of Georgia School of Law, where he participated in Moot Court, was a member of the Clarke Carley Inn of Court, and served on the Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.
Mr. Sowell lives in Marietta, Georgia where he was raised and enjoys backpacking and camping in the southern Appalachian Mountains in his free time.
