Coverage of Congressional Hearings With Tech CEOs

While no one can argue that Republicans and Democrats are entrenched on the opposite side of seemingly every issue of our day, at this week’s House Judiciary Committee hearing representatives from both parties had critical – and at times scathing – remarks for the CEOs of Apple, Google, Amazon, and Facebook.
Concerns from both political parties ranged from those companies’ dealings with China, deletion of online material, such as social media censorship of a recent video of multiple medical professionals offering opinions on COVID-19 treatment which deviate from the messages of mainstream media (see Real Clear Politics – Facebook and YouTube Ban Video of Doctors Talking COVID), to concerns over allegations that one or more of the companies have perpetuated confusion over the source of goods sold on their platforms.
